Import of Wooden Logs
At Haseeba Exports, we not only serve international markets through our exports but also cater to the growing domestic demand in India by sourcing and importing high-quality raw materials and commodities from trusted global partners. Our import operations focus on delivering products that support India’s industrial, agricultural, and food supply needs with consistency, cost efficiency, and uncompromising quality.
India’s furniture, construction, and manufacturing industries have a rising demand for durable and sustainable wood. We import a wide variety of hardwood and softwood species, available both as raw logs and in cut-to-size pieces, depending on customer requirements. Our global sourcing network ensures access to quality wood from Asia, Africa, and Europe, offering clients reliable supply and competitive pricing while adhering to sustainability and legal sourcing norms.
Most popular source of the wood are the Malaysian and Indonesian jungles of palm trees, as also Brazil, Austria and Newzealand. All these supplier countries are subject to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species)that covers certain species of woods from notified jungles. Then each supplier country also have to adhere to National Forest Laws of their countries.
So the wooden logs and cut-to-pieces timber imported comply with all applicable international regulations.
